The Intelligems MCP is Intelligems' own server at https://ai.intelligems.io/mcp. Add it from Claude's connector directory, sign in, and Claude can read your test results and store analytics, then build, launch and reprice tests when you say yes.
What the Intelligems MCP does
Intelligems tests prices, shipping, offers and page content on Shopify stores. The MCP lets you "pull live experiment data, launch tests, and get analytics answers" from an AI tool (Intelligems). It launched in December 2025 and could create price tests from July 2026 (changelog). Atlas, the AI inside Intelligems itself, is separate, and every paid plan includes both (pricing).
Its docs list 50 tools (Available Tools). By job:
| Area | Example tools | Read or write |
|---|---|---|
| Test results | analyze_experience, get_variation_overview, get_variation_audience | Read |
| Sitewide analytics | get_sitewide_snapshot, get_sitewide_conversion_funnel | Read |
| Shopify sales | get_sales_overview, run_shopifyql_query | Read |
| Catalog, offers, events | search_products, list_offers, list_custom_events | Read |
| Tests | create_experience, update_experience, experience_action | Write |
| Price tests | prepare_price_test_products, commit_price_test_products | Write |
| Checkout blocks | add_checkout_block, update_checkout_block, delete_checkout_block | Write |
Three details matter:
- New tests are drafts that "reach no shoppers until explicitly started".
experience_actionstarts, pauses and ends them. - Price changes go prepare, review, commit. Prepare returns a readable diff, and nothing changes until the commit.
analyze_experiencegives a verdict that staysnot_ready"until the test has roughly 7+ days live and 300+ orders per group".
Since 16 October it also ships seven built-in skills that run when you ask a matching question. One, Convert Traffic, "finds where shoppers drop off and builds the test that fixes it" (Intelligems), as a draft for you to review.
Before you start
- A paid Intelligems plan. The MCP is "included on all paid plans" (Intelligems). On the Shopify App Store, Smart Content is $69 a month, Smart Merchandise and Smart Shipping $112.10, and Unlimited $349, all scaling with your order volume (Shopify App Store). Intelligems' own page shows Unlimited at $1,279 a month for up to 10,000 orders a month, with a 3-month minimum (pricing). Our CRO tools roundup compares it with Shoplift, Convert and Shopify's free Rollouts.
- Smart Pricing, for price tests. It isn't in the 14-day trial, since Intelligems' team builds a price integration for your store, and it has a 3-month minimum.
- Admin approval on Claude Team or Enterprise. If you see Request instead of Connect, an owner or admin has to switch Intelligems on first.
Set it up in Claude
Intelligems' steps (docs), plus a first question:
- In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors. Click Add, then Browse connectors.
- Search for Intelligems and click "+" on its card.
- Click Connect and sign in with your Intelligems account.
- Start a new chat and check Intelligems is switched on in the connectors menu.
- Ask "What can Intelligems do for my store?" The Skill Finder replies with what your plan covers.
Intelligems suggests setting its read-only tools to "Always allow". Leave the write tools on approval.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http intelligems https://ai.intelligems.io/mcp
The first call opens a browser login, and the token refreshes itself after that.
Cursor
Intelligems doesn't document Cursor, but its server publishes standard OAuth discovery (we checked on 28 October 2026), and Cursor signs in to remote servers that way (Cursor docs). Add this to mcp.json and sign in when asked:
{
"mcpServers": {
"intelligems": {
"url": "https://ai.intelligems.io/mcp"
}
}
}
ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok use the same URL. ChatGPT needs Developer Mode on a paid plan, and Intelligems says Gemini custom connectors need Gemini Enterprise (ChatGPT guide, Gemini guide).
What to ask once it's connected
- "Give me a quick status on all my running tests. Which have reached statistical significance, and which are trending positive or negative?" (Intelligems' own example, docs.)
- "Which tests raised conversion rate but lowered profit per visitor?"
- "Which landing pages had the highest bounce rate from Paid Social this month?"
- "Draft a price test on [product], 10% higher for half of visitors. Don't start it."
What it can't answer on its own
Intelligems sees a lot of the site. Its sitewide tools split bounce and conversion by channel, source site and landing page, and filter by UTM parameter (Available Tools).
It doesn't hold the ad account. No tool reads spend, campaigns or ads, and its integrations page lists no Meta or Google Ads connection (Intelligems integrations). So it can't say which ad paid for the visitors who left, or what they cost. Session recordings come from Clarity, Hotjar or Heatmap.com. And its answer to a leak is a test on your store. When an ad sends the wrong people, no page test fixes that.
The other limit is traffic. A price test learns only from the people who reach the page being tested. Here's how that looked on our own site, from Anry's get_top_pages, 12 to 28 October 2026:
| Page | Visitors | Left after one page |
|---|---|---|
| /pricing | 112 | 26% |
| /shopify, our ad landing page | 871 | 99% |
anry.io isn't a Shopify store, and we don't run Intelligems, but the lesson carries. The few people who reached our pricing page mostly read on. The leak came earlier, on the landing page our ads sent people to. Fix where people leave before you test the price on a page they rarely reach. Our Shopify CRO checklist puts testing last for the same reason.
To see both sides, add Anry next to Intelligems:
claude mcp add --transport http anry https://mcp.anry.io/mcp
Then ask across both:
| Step | Server | Tool | What it returns |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Anry | get_campaign_spend | Spend per campaign and ad, next to the visits and orders counted on your store |
| 2 | Anry | get_top_pages | Visitors per page, and how many left after one page |
| 3 | Anry | get_revenue_leaks, get_issue | The leak, its price in your own orders, and the evidence by device and path |
| 4 | Intelligems | create_experience | A draft test of the change, when the fix belongs on the page |
Anry writes the fix. Claude Code or Cursor applies a site fix, Meta's or Google's own tools apply an ad fix, and Intelligems tests a page change before every shopper sees it.

Is it safe?
You sign in on Intelligems' own page with OAuth, so no key goes into a chat. Write actions "always run through your AI client's approval flow" (Intelligems), and since August, actions taken through the MCP show up labeled in your activity log (changelog).
That approval lives in Claude's tool permissions. Set the write tools to "Always allow" and Claude stops asking before it starts a test or commits a price. Keep them on approval. What an MCP server is covers what any server like this can reach.
Common errors and the fix
From Intelligems' troubleshooting page and tool docs:
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "No organization context available" | Sign-in didn't finish, or Claude doesn't know which store | Reconnect, then name the store or pass organization |
Sign-in fails with an ofid_ code | Your browser is logged in to a different Intelligems store | Log out of Intelligems and Shopify, clear their cookies, log in to the right store, retry |
| Every tool shows up twice | An old manual setup is still in Claude Desktop | Delete the local "intelligems" server under Settings, Developer (docs) |
| A checkout block test shows nothing | Shopify doesn't let apps place checkout blocks | Add the block in Shopify's checkout editor with its exact Location ID |
| A committed price change isn't live | Commits are queued, not instant | Check again with get_price_test_products |
Where Anry fits
Intelligems tells you whether a change to your store won. Anry finds where visitors leave before that, from the ad click to the order, and prices each leak in your store's own orders. It's an MCP with 23 tools for Claude, Claude Code and Cursor, and it writes the fix for your agent to apply. One plan with every feature, billed monthly, free trial with no card (pricing). If you don't run paid ads, or your traffic already reaches the pages you test, Intelligems' MCP covers you without it.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Intelligems MCP server URL?
https://ai.intelligems.io/mcp, or https://ai.intelligems.io/mcp/sse for SSE-only clients. In Claude, add it from the connector directory instead.
Is the Intelligems MCP free?
It's included in every paid Intelligems plan, with no separate fee listed. Plans start at $69 a month for Smart Content and scale with your order volume.
Can Claude create or change Intelligems price tests?
Yes. It drafts tests, starts, pauses and ends them, and stages and commits price changes. Each write asks for your approval unless you switch that off.
Can I use the Intelligems MCP across several stores?
Yes. Every tool takes an optional organization parameter, so an agency can switch stores in one chat. Name the store in each question.
